When he was little, he spent a short time in the United States. This experience led himself to look for the roots of things. He loves creatures since he was young, and once set his mind on being the biologist, but gave it up. Then he chose the way of studying at an art school, being influenced by his grandfather, who is a doctor and also a painter and whose paintings' subjects are the Buddhist and the living things.
At the art school, he devoted himself on the music and silver works of Japanese monsters, as well as studies. After the graduation, he worked at the furniture company, and learned things in wide variety, from delivering the furniture to designing the product and the store. He opened his own store in 1999, and started as 9brand. His designs, the graphics and products combined with the "living things".
He also loves Kung fu Karate, such as southern Shaolin or taichi, which adopt the move of creatures, and continues practicing from child. He was 1st dan in karate which was one of the Fujian tiger system.
Being born between the mother of loving handicrafts and the father of working at the company of the sawing machinery, she had her own sawing machine since she was in the elementary school, and created crafts by herself. She loved pure literature, and when she became an University sutdent, she moved to Tokyo and chose literature as the major. She devoted her student life to reading and going to the movies, being interested in antique and fork art. The owner of her apartment was a painter by happening, so she learned how to draw, and find the delight in expressing herself.
After the graduation, she worked at the antique shop, and studied design. Then she got a job at the furniture store and experienced merchandising. In 1999, started as 9brand.
Now she mainly does design works, but she still saws daily and enjoy the life with her only daughter and a weasel. She still cares for reading and writing, and writes essays.
